The Freight Management Association of Canada (FMA) members revealed a global network on Monday in an effort to cut costs and boost service standards on the nation's roads and railroads.
The network's 15 overseas members will function as a freight broker for shipments coming into or going out of Canada.
The business, which has strong ties to Australia, is also thinking about enacting rules that would allow drivers to accumulate international freight pilot-packs and carriers to apply for C-Train carrier cards.
The FMA will utilise Canada's existing rail and road networks to transport freight.
By collaborating strategically with freight management firms in Asia and Europe, we will give the region a worldwide reach to draw in outside investment.
